How counselling and psychotherapy work

    

Counselling and psychotherapy are talking therapies that involve talking to a trained professional in a way that provides you with a safe space where you will never be judged, where your therapist will be open and honest, and where they will treat you unconditionally in a positive way.  Your therapist will be empathic towards you and accept whatever you bring in a compassionate way. This will help you work with your negative thoughts and feelings to find a more positive way of being, and allow you to feel accepted just as you are.

I am and an accredited member of the UKCP and am bound by their ethical framework.
